Changing a .pdf File--to a Word File (.doc or .docx)--or .pdf to a .txt file.?

I so infrequently ask questions, but when I do they usually deal with software problems, this query follows the same thought. I have a manual (on Firearms usage) which is 270 pages in .pdf. I downloaded the file from the RCMP site in Canada. I would like to be able to copy and paste certain passages in .pdf onto any of these=(.doc, docx, or txt.) I have all the Microsoft Office programs (2007) editions, hence the .docx. My .pdf Reader is Firefox's FoxIt Reader.

Does any one know how I can take a paragraph, highlight it my passage (copy) and then move it to a word or Text program (and paste), so I can cut and paste as usual?

If anyone can help out it may out I would be greatly appreciated.

That last time I posted a software question, I only got one reply, I tried his way, but I was missing a step, I added this info as additional details and reposted, but I got only that sinle original answer, which I could not use. I will be committed to fast replies and I would like to ask any responders to check back to the question for updates. If the technique works I will also let you no.

there are free softwares on the internet you can download to convert pdf into word. Just google it.



I don't know much about 2007 but I think on 2007, you can save word as pdf. I don't know if you can do it the other way round. If not, google a free one and download it.
Open Foxit Reader, click on the Help Tab, and read all about the using the Text Tool.
