Change the extension to .pdf from Excel or Word extension?

I am sending Microsoft Word and Excel files to someone who does not have those programs on her computer. I know she can read them if I change the extension to PDF. The only way I can send them to her now with the PDF extension is to save the files twice - once as an Excel or Word document and once with the PDF extension.

I wish to know how I can change the extension inside Yahoo Mail during the attachment process.Change the extension to .pdf from Excel or Word extension?
You can't just change the file extention -- the file has to be converted.

If you have Word or Excel 2007, that feature is built in:

Almost every file has a particular file Extension for a reason. It is because the actual file itself has a particular file FORMAT. And each format is a pattern of data that needs to follow basic rules so that the application handling that format will know what to do with all of that data.

Just changing the extension to something else does not make the file format change. And it will most likely be un-viewable by its associated application.

If you want others to view an MS-Excel spreadsheet, then save that sheet as a .CSV format, which is a comma separated text value file, and is easily viewed by anyone.

Otherwise, you will always need to save the worksheet in two different formats.

.
What you need is just a third-party software. I recommand you Nemo PDF To Word, get it at the official site:
