How do I change the sizes of a PDF?

My computer is a Fujitsu with Windows Vista, and Microsoft Word (2007). I need to convert a word document into a PDF (which I think I have now done) but now I still need to convert the file from ';8.5x11'; to make a trim size of 5'; x 8';. I am terrible with computers and a detailed, step-by-step guide to doing this would be very much appreciated. Thank you!How do I change the sizes of a PDF?
You'll want to convert the document size in Microsoft Word before you export it as a .pdf file; it'll make your life a whole lot easier. To do this 1) Click on Page Layout tab at the top 2) Click on the arrow under Size in the Page Setup section 3) Click on More Paper Sizes as your paper size is likely not listed 4) Change the Width and Height of your paper size to 5'; and 8'; respectively.

You may also want to consider changing your margin size to something smaller to make the paper look more balanced (smaller paper size = smaller margins).

Once you have done that and formatted your contents to look good, you can export it to a .pdf file again. On my Windows computer, I use a .pdf write called CutePDF Writer. The program is free and you use it by simply printing to the program just as you would print any normal document to a regular printer. How do I change the sizes of a PDF?
Hello,

You can edit the original Word document to the desired size and then convert to PDF.
