for example when i click on menu on a restaurants website and its pdf, my computer opens it in a different language.. its a lot of boxes and symbols but def not english. how can i set it to english where i can read my received pdf files?? please help.How do i change the language on my incoming pdf files?

Adobe 9 is the latest adobe reader (free) and there is a setting for it
At the top task bar Select EDIT then you will see PREFERENCES at the categories select INTERNATIONAL - make sure its selected for english
