Changing a picture on a pdf format,into a jpg format or save in an different format?

Can anyone help. I found a old photo in a pdf format.I would like to upload the photo onto a forum site.To do this the photo needs to be in a jpg or bitmap format. how can I change the format from pdf to jpg or bitmap.

Most versions of acrobat have a tool called ';snapshot'; tool. The icon looks like a camera. Click the icon, then drag a box around the section of the pdf file you want to take a picture of. Release the mouse and a snapshot of the area is placed on your windows clipboard. Now open up some graphics program like PAINT and create a new file. Then press %26lt;Ctrl%26gt; V (paste) and paste the clipboard image. Save the file as a jpg, bitmap or whatever.Changing a picture on a pdf format,into a jpg format or save in an different format?
