How can I save changes to an interactive PDF on a Windows PC?

I have created an interactive PDF on a Mac (using Acrobat Pro 9) and it's able to be edited and saved on the Mac just through preview however, when I send it to my PC (using Acrobat Reader 9) it gives me an alert that changes cannot be saved and they can't - not even using 'save as.'How can I save changes to an interactive PDF on a Windows PC?

the guy sort of gives 4 ways out...but you pretty much need to 1. convert to word 2. edit 3. convert back to pdf ---%26gt; http://www.pdfonline.com/pdf2word/index.asp
