How can I change default PDF Icon to a custom Image?

Hi

Can anyone explain how to convert the default Adobe Acrobat File Icon to a custom Image?

I have created a PDF of a showreel (Text + Images) and want the user to see one of these images when they have the PDF Icon on their desktop etc. Many thanks.

PS: I'm running OSX 10.4.11 Tiger on a Powerbook G4. I use either Keynote or Powerpoint to create PDF's.

If you change the default icon, ALL pdfs will have that icon. A data file, like a pdf file, has the icon given to it by the program it's associated with, in your case, Adobe Acrobat - in my case Foxit Reader. If you change that, you change the icon for all files of that type, not just your file. And fooling with someone else's computer like that is the textbook case of ';a bad idea';.
