How do I change wps to high res pdf file?

I am needing my wps file to be changed to a pdf file so Ican e-mail to a newspaper. He has asked for the pdf file and I dont know how to do this. When Igo into save as pdf is`nt available.My system is Vista .Could I even change the wps to open as adobe? Please help!How do I change wps to high res pdf file?
I've done this once! I'm using Vista Home Basic, and when I clicked on the top right hand corner of the open Adobe reader it took me to the site. I then was given the option of having 5 free converted documents. It talked me through everything which is a good job as I am the original Muppet when it comes to computers!How do I change wps to high res pdf file?
