How can I make a PDF file to fit a 6';x9'; format?

The Word document is in 6x9 format. The adobe website doesn't support conversions of that format, so I copied and pasted it to Wordpad in an .rtf format. But when I sent that off to be converted, it still showed up as a 8.5x11'; format. Is it something I'm doing wrong with the original document, or is there a way to change the PDF margins? How can I make a PDF file to fit a 6';x9'; format?
This is not something you should be doing on the Adobe website. They will not convert to anything except 8-1/2 X 11 pages.

You need a pdf maker that is resident on your own computer, not one on a website. The best one I know of is Openoffice.org--they have an entire ';office'; suite like Microsoft office and it is 100% compatible with Windows. The ';Writer'; program (the word processor) has the capability to convert any file to pdf format--at any size you wish. Open Office is completely 100% free of charge. It's a fantastic program and even has online support.

I really urge you to take the tutorials on the Createspace site if you haven't already done so.
