How can I change a PDF document into a Word , Excel or a another type?

As for my ICT coursework I have put my work into a PDF format as this is the only way the exam board will accept it, however to get the highest grade I need to change it, I do not have time to go back and do it all over again so if someone can tell me how to change a PDF into another format. How can I change a PDF document into a Word , Excel or a another type?
I don't think that is possible PDF's are purposely used for that very reason so that the contents of a file cannot be altered or changed in anyway. How can I change a PDF document into a Word , Excel or a another type?
You actually can't.
Hi there!

Nitro PDF has an option to convert pdf's into a M$ wordfile, richtext etc. - Hope that works for you.
I recommend Solid PDF converter, as it has OCR and does a good job for converting. Especially you have a lot of tables in your course work. But if you convert the word documents to PDF files, the trial version has a watermark on the file.

You can download a trial version on the website. http://www.soliddocuments.com/download.h

You can also try some free software online. Like:

Just upload the file and get it in word format upon email. I tried this, also did well for tables.

Hope it helps.
You can download some trial version of PDF converter softwares, such as Solid Converter PDF and VeryPDF PDF converter ,so that you can easily to convert PDF to Word or Excel.
