I have a PDF document and in it's current form I cannot add to it or change any of the content.
I'd like to change it to a Word document so I can add or subtract from it.
Can that be done...and how??
I must tell you I am really tech challenged and old so I need a step-by-step explanation. Can I change a PDF to a word document?
First make the mouse a cursor as opposed to a hand and highlight the entire PDF then while the entire PDF is still highlighted hit Ctrl and ';C'; at the same time to copy ... then go into a blank word document and make sure the cursor is up on the page and hit Ctrl and ';V'; at the same time to paste it... this may change spacing and or font and sizing, but it will work to copy the wordsCan I change a PDF to a word document?
I do this with Lotus Wordpro, but maybe it would work with MS Word. Highlight the text in Acrobat, then hit Control-S or Control-X. Then I open a Lotus Wordpro file and simply hit Control-V. Works every time.
I recommend PDFTextOnline. It's easy to use, free and works from your browser.
Getting text and other content out of your PDF documents is often a hassle. Adobe Acrobat鈩?(or your other favorite PDF viewer) can do copy-and-paste, but that's time-consuming and tedious for anything but the smallest jobs. Acrobat鈩?also has a 'save as text' option, but unless you spring for Acrobat鈩?Professional, it often generates inaccurate text and simply cannot cope with some languages (especially Chinese, Japanese, and Korean).
