How do I change from PDF to JPEG?

When I try to upload a pic, my pic documets shows PDF symbol next to the file, so I can't upload it right. I e-mailed a pic to myself, and it opens in a pdf file, so you have to download it. This is not how it happened before.

Before that, the pic would load right on the e-mail, and all I had to do was open to see the file bigger.

I don't know what changed this because I didn't mess with any buttons. Before I scan, two windows come up, and it shows jpeg format, so I assume it's set right. It was fine before, so I don't know how this pdf is coming from.

Also, when I go to my picture, I put the mouse click over the pic, and a ballon come up and it says Type: JPEG, so I don't know how the PDF is coming from.

Is there a simple way to convert the image type and fix this too for future scanning? How do I change from PDF to JPEG?
Go to the scanner programme and change the default setting there. Any changes you might make are over-ridden by default settings of the scanner. Once again JPG the default of your scanner

To change from PDF to JPG, open your file in Powerpoint, Corel or PhotoShop and save as JPG.

Or if you have a single photo on the screen which you wish to save, just click on the photo, press right mouse button, and SAVE PHOTO AS - give a new name and save as JPG

Do not change the default settings of your Adobe PDF reader, it might lead to other complications, unless you know how to handle those - please do not touch. How do I change from PDF to JPEG?
